Levana is excited to support the Turbines Curatorial Collective’s upcoming UTOPIAS Performance Art Festival!
WHAT: Guided by queer, feminist, trans*, and anti-racist perspectives, UTOPIAS draws together emerging/local performance artists with nationally- and internationally-recognized artists in order to produce creative re-imaginings through performance art. Featuring VAGINAL DAVIS, HAZEL MEYER, ANDREW RABYNIUK, and AVERY EVERHART, UTOPIAS temporarily transforms public places and art spaces throughout Kingston in order to stage artistic interventions into dominant cultural narratives.
Turbines Curatorial Collective is committed to building an inclusive arts/activism community with accessible services and facilities that respect the dignity and independent of persons with disabilities. All venues are accessible to persons with mobility difficulties and wheelchair users. Because the venues are located throughout a newly-renovated building, they may not be accessible to persons with environmental or chemical sensitivities. Our festival is available in an accessible format and/or with appropriate communication supports including an ASL-English interpreter, upon request. Please contact us at email@example.com by March 6th so that the necessary arrangements can be made in time for the festival.
